Pholiotes adipeuses mushroom basket Using as outdoor seedPholiota Adiposa Chestnut mushrooms has mild earthy flavor with a touch of, as some describe, nutty flavor too. They have a crunchy texture, but the longer you cook it, the more it softens. Excellent ingredient for warming soups and broths, so as for stir fries. These mushrooms should not be eaten raw. Store the mushrooms in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator in a paper bag. All our mushrooms are grown without pesticides and fertilizers.
